I got these to protect my boots during floorwork and they offer the perfect amount of slide without getting scuffy looking since the base is black too. I thought these would be a matte pleather texture but they're something smoother than the sueded ones and more microfiber than the leathered ones. I think all the protectors should be made this way for floorwork!
